Our guides, methodology pages, and service descriptions help homeowners understand trade services, ask better questions, and make informed decisions before authorizing work. Nothing on this site is a substitute for a licensed professional's on-site assessment.
Accuracy Standards
Factual claims on this site are sourced from established standards bodies (ASHRAE, NEC/NFPA 70, IAPMO UPC, ASTM, ASCE) or represent first-party platform policies. Where third-party data is used, we cite the source. We do not publish unverifiable statistics, invented ratings, fabricated provider counts, or unsupported pricing claims.
Items requiring business-level verification are labeled “TODO: OWNER VERIFICATION REQUIRED” and excluded from production until verified.
Review & Update Process
Service methodology pages and trust content are reviewed when underlying standards change, when credible user feedback identifies an error, or on a periodic editorial schedule. Each page displays a “last updated” date in its structured data. If you believe any content is inaccurate, please contact our support team.
